Native Plants will be Planted in this Area

On Saturday, September 11, the Albany Community Foundation will once again join forces with City Arborist, Tony Wolcott to weed, remove inappropriate plants, and plant native plants at the Albany Community Center.  There is lots to be done and EVERYONE is invited to participate.  Activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. with pizza provided by the Albany Community Foundation at noon for all workers.  Projects to be completed include planting native plants in the large and small planter boxes, removal of some of the hedges around the building and planting natives and edibles around the building.
